Bought this required textbook for my wife's online Young Adult Lit class. Unlike some textbooks that you can't sell back fast enough after the class is over, she says she'll be keeping this one. Covers all the genres of YA Lit really well, with lots of examples and suggestions of books. She thinks it'll be very useful when she becomes a teacher.

I needed this for class. It is what it is. Some of the information is repetitive, but it served its purpose. I used this edition instead of the newer one for my class to save money and it worked just fine.

This book is extremely one-sided, and only written from a liberal point of view. I don't have a problem with that, until they start insulting people who disagree with them. It's not all that informative, and doesn't really offer that much that would be helpful for future teachers. The only plus is that it's a fairly cheap textbook.

Once again, another required text book for one of my many college courses. The book has some good info, but I would have never chosen it on my own.

I used this book as a textbook for one of my classes and was impressed with how much I learned while reading it. I will keep this book to refer back to when I become an educator.

This was a textbook for a class, which I did not particularly enjoy. The book itself seemed pretty common sense.
