Reviewers who consider this to be "outdated" are exactly right--and they miss the whole point. It's certainly "out-of-date" (copyrighted 1902), which is why it's an historical treasure for serious students of stamp collecting. To me, it beautifully describes the roots of my own personal enjoyment of collecting international postage stamps. The historical background information contained here is very important.

I read this more for the historical interest, and it certainly is a worthwhile addition to any philatelist's library. Still the king of hobbies.

BORING CONFUSING< NO PICTURES, just text, long winded 1950 style boring how to text.

I deleted as it lacked the helpful stamp illustrations -- a disappointment and not worth the time taken to download.
