Nashville is a place I've always wanted to visit and of course I love ghosts, so when I saw this book about haunted places of Nashville I knew I had to read it.The book is more of a handbook, it just mentions the places, it's location, website, and a brief history on the hauntings.It was fun to read about the local restaurants, hotels, museums, and theaters that are haunted; some of which are by country musicians or Civil War soldiers.After reading this book, I'm ready to head to Nashville to explore some of these places.

This a fun, informative book. It was interesting to see different stories of hauntings in and around Nashville. I am not going to pursue the places, but just wanted to read about them, and enjoyed it.

Awesome book

I'm still reading, so don't have a full review yet. Some of it is quite interesting, but I have tripped over a number of instances where the author's appear to suffer from a lack of local expertise. For example, when discussing Sunnyside Mansion, they caution tourists against visiting the area at night, saying the area is in a very dangerous part of town. That may have been the case 10 or 15 years ago, but the area around Sunnyside, the 12-South district, is now one of the city's most popular, thriving destinations... day and night. The area is perfectly safe, assuming the visitor shows normal caution. Considering one of the authors has lived in Nashville since 1997, I would expect more local awareness. Beyond, that, much of the writing is stilted and disjointed.
