Every book... and this was no exception! Especially for car fans.
If you are raising boys or need a boy gift, Gary Paulsen's books are superb. My son has read almost everything he has written. Excited to give this book as a gift.
I bought this for my small group high school class and it was a hit
Good book that held my attention. Can't go wrong with Gary Paulson. Would recommend the book, but not my favorite of Paulson's. Felt, at times, the book rushed through the story line not giving the reader enough time to really learn about the characters.
13 yr old son really enjoyed this book. quick read. not complicated story. my son also enjoyed the Norvelt Series by Jack Gantos if that's any help to you for similarity.
It's a really good book that I can relate to read it when I was in Middle School and never got to finish it but I finally found it and read it and still good just wish that they would of had a different ending or made another book from the ending
Excellent read to revisit from my school days, only sadly I had forgotten the abrupt ending only wishing now to find a sequel to the story as I want to read more on Terry, Wayne and Waylon.s adventure. Who knew as an adult that I would have been drawn into the story like I was. Come on Gary give us the rest of the story!!
A book from my childhood that I remember finding in a library. I finally went back and purchased this to re-read once again. Good for car guys or guys who like adventure.
